THE BAND

Introducing FNM Band - Celebrating the iconic sound of Faith No More.

FNM Band is not your typical tribute band. You will not see any costumes or wigs comically trying to look like the original lineup. Instead, all the time, energy and effort has been put into fastidiously recreating the tones, energy and sound of one of the worlds most diverse rock bands, the legendary Faith no more - and the boys really feel that they have delivered on this level.

Although a vague idea of guitarist Pete Fleming that floated through many lineup changes over many years, it was only early 2020 that he put the word out to bring together the definitive lineup that we see here today.
Pete Haze (Seven / Tetrameth) was first to be brought in for an audition, and with a history of fronting bands in similar genres over his career, as well as a healthy love and respect for Mike Patton as a major influence over the years, it was an instant no brainer. He immediately brought in his long time musical cohort Ben Brennan (Seven / Full Scale Revolution / Resin Dogs) who pretty much based his playing style from listening to Billy Goulds crunching bass lines and tones as a kid. Needless to say, Ben decided immediately that he was also "in" and no one else was to have a say in it. After trying a few different keyboard players and drummers, Luke Rosten (Ahiru / Undercover) came in as a seasoned professional and immediately filled the keyboard soundscapes required.
The final piece of the puzzle was a drummer that could match the open handed ferocity and tightness of Mike Bordin. Ben and Pete decided that there was only one option,.... and as they'd had some contact with Lucius (Cog / Juice / The Hanging Tree) over the years having supported Cog a few times with their previous band, and Ben playing in a band with him in Melbourne years back, Loosh was asked if he'd like to come down for a jam. From the first few bars of the first song they jammed on, Land of Sunshine, the sound was immediately there, and the lineup locked and loaded.

As it turned out, that year wasn't the most perfect timing to launch a premier live music experience as Covid did its best to bury the Australian live music scene. What it did create was a solid musical and mental lifeline for like minded professional muso's pretty much out of work for the year, to get together in an undisclosed warehouse in Ballina to hang out and not only rock the fuck out every Tuesday night, but also support each other through some tough times for all, especially those trying to make a living in the live music scene.
The result? A well crafted and rehearsed Faith No More tribute experience all geared up to launch into 2021.

Bring It On!
